Vroom, Vroom, Vroom (Again!)

Hi Quilting Friends,

Sharon here today.  I’ve been having some fun with several new foundation paper pieced vehicle designs.  This time we have a selection of designs from several vehicle categories, so here we go!

This crane is ready to do all of your heavy lifting!  From huge concrete beams to humongous boulders, the crane can do the job for you.  Rough terrain?  No problem!  This crane runs on a crawler, so you’re good to go wherever the job takes you.

Gentlemen, start your engines!  The race car is ready to zoom around the track, and then go around and around again.  The sleek lines of this mighty machine allow it to drift around corners without losing speed or flipping over.  Get ready to watch his victory lap!

I’ve been working on the railroad, all the live-long day!  The railroad handcar can take workers and equipment anywhere that track or signal repairs are needed.  Climb aboard, and then pump the walking beam up and down to make it move along the track.

The VW bus was the iconic vehicle from the “Summer of Love” and the “Flower Power” era.  There’s plenty of room inside to take your friends to the beach, a weekend of camping in the forest, or a cross-country road trip!  Far out!  Isn’t it groovy, baby!

Ready for a road trip?  Or, perhaps, a trip to the beach for a picnic and some surfing?  Let’s load up the Woodie with the boards on top!  Put the “Beach Boys” on the radio! There’s plenty of room for everyone!
