Hi Quilting Friends,
Welcome to our “12 Days of Christmas” blog series! We’re glad you’ve joined us.
Every Christmas I enjoy all my favorite Christmas songs. On the top of my list is “I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas”.
Today we’re featuring our favorite hippopotamus, who just happens to be a prima ballerina.

Before she became a famous dancer, Miss Hippopotamus hung out with all the other critters who were learning how to dance to classics like the Nutcracker.
Poor Piggy isn’t really sure what she is supposed to do, but give her points for getting out there and trying!

The “Ballet Animals” quilt pattern and the individual animal blocks are all available in Ms P’s Pattern Shop.

They look like a wild bunch, but I still want a hippopotamus for Christmas! (Either that or a longarm quilting machine LOL!) What’s on your Christmas wish list this year?
Update: Congratulations to Nancy A, winner of the “Hippo Ballerina” pattern! Thank you to everyone who entered the giveaway.
We’re having a giveaway! Now’s your change to have a hippopotamus for Christmas, because today’s giveaway is the “Hippo Ballerina” PDF pattern. Entries will be accepted until December 9, and the winner will be notified by December 11.
Thanks again for visiting! Please plan to stop by again tomorrow for more holiday fun.
Happy quilting,
Susan
I like all the ballerinas. I can’t choose just one.

So darn cute! As always, QS gift cards are always on my wish list. I new sewing machine is probably at the top though.

these are adorable. I am hoping for a hand mixer. The kind that is held in one hand. And a tool that suctions to my quilting ruler.

I love these. My wish for this Christmas is a job for my son-in-law and a house for their family.
