Cypress Lilies

Hi Quilting Friends,

Whew! It has been REALLY HOT here in Texas! Susan has been spending more time in her studio, and making some totally amazing projects. Are you looking for a fresh quilt design, featuring pieced flowers? We’re excited to introduce our newest addition, “Cypress Lilies”!

This beautiful quilt features four large Carolina Lily blocks, joined together with flower buds and pinwheels. We live in Cypress, Texas, so that’s why we named the quilt “Cypress Lilies”.

This design comes together easily with precision quick piecing and a little bit of foundation piecing. We used a selection of purple, green, and gold batik fabrics, but you could choose your favorite colors to make it your own.
