Goal 5 – Play with Others (In Person)
My “new” goal for 2025 was to be deliberately social, aiming for an average of one “social interaction” per week.
Update- Goal completed (and exceeded) successfully.
According to my social calendar, I have participated in 39 social activities in the 13 weeks this quarter.
Here’s a list of some of the things I’ve done during Q4-
- Attended the Houston Quilt Festival with Mr. Fix-It
- Lunches, dinners, and game nights with friends
- Hosted “Cookie Day” for friends (Oct), neighbors (Oct), & family (Dec)
- Went to the Texas Rennaissance Festival with Mr. Fix-It
- Organized a day trip to Brenham for our Seniors group
- Tamale Day in San Antonio with our son’s in-laws
- Watched “Wicked For Ever” with Susan
- Went to the “Nutcracker” ballet with Nathan, Gaby, & Mr. Fix-It
- Attended classes for seniors at the local college
- Celebrated holidays with family
According to my records, I have been “social” at least 142 times during 2025. (Whew!) Even better, I have added to my knowledge and had some amazing experiences. I’ve encountered interesting people, and added new friends. I consider it time well-spent!
So that’s it for my Q4 report. I’m taking some time to choose goals for 2026, and I will share them soon.
How have you performed on your 2025 goals? What do you hope to accomplish in 2026? Do tell! I love reading your comments.
Happy quilting,
Sharon
