Hi Quilting Friends,
The Rainbow Scrap Challenge color for January is BLUE. I have a humongous pile of BLUE scraps, and I know how to use them. Here’s what I’ve been making!
Signature Squares

I have lots of BLUE scraps, so I made 20 BLUE signature squares. (They will never be signed; I just couldn’t find another name for these cute and easy little blocks.) This is just one of the potential block layouts that may be used with these block.
Zipper Bag

I found a collection of 2″ x 2″ squares in my BLUE scrap bin. I have been using them as leader-enders, sewing the squares into pairs and the pairs into 4-patch units, between other piecing . The plan is to make panels for a BLUE zipper bag, and the photo here shows half of a finished panel.
Thanks for stopping by to see my projects! I’ll be back again next week with more.
Happy quilting,
Sharon
Any scrap usage is good and you’ve got some fun blocks going to use them up.

Thank you! It feels like I could make scrap quilts for many years to come, and still not run out of scraps, LOL. They multiply when I’m not paying attention.
