Hi Quilting Friends,
My “One Monthly Goal” for May was to begin quilting this pretty little quilt.

Ta-done! I wasn’t sure that I’d finish it this month, with all of the busy-ness that goes along with the end of the school year, but here it is! We’ve had a good amount of rain during May, which disrupted my outdoor activities, so I used my time indoors productively.

I opted for a chevron quilting design, and extended to the edges of the quilt. I keptg the quilting simple so it wouldn’t distract from the pretty pieced star. The quilting lines are placed fairly close together, and I really like the texture it created on the surface. I’ve added a plain black binding to finish the edges. Now I need to find a spot to hang it up!
Happy quilting,
Sharon
Love it! I think the chevron quilting all the way to the edge adds so much! Congrats on your finish!
