September RSC 2023

Hi Quilting Friends,

The RSC 2023 color for September is AQUA.  I love AQUA, so I pulled out my AQUA scrap basket and got busy with my stitching.

Rolling Stone

I made a beautiful AQUA Rolling Stone block-

Carolina Chain

I didn’t make more Carolina Chain blocks this month. I got carried away and made 30 AQUA blocks last year, which used up nearly all of my AQUA scraps.  I spent my time putting the smaller blocks together, and finished 12 more of the larger blocks –

I like it so far, and I’m getting excited to start placing blocks into the final layout.  Time to hang the design wall!

I’ve been partcipating in “One Gift a Month” from Days Filled with Joy. The September project is a cute fat quarter bag, so I decided to make two bags in AQUA. Of course, the Frenchie Army had to photo-bomb the picture when Mr. Fix-It opened the garage door, LOL.

I’m not getting much stitching done with these little girls around, but we’re having fun together doing other things.
