This month’s challenge is to work on putting together the quilt top, so that’s been my focus.
Carolina Chain
I’ve (maybe) finished putting together the smaller units into larger blocks, although I need to count them (again) to make sure that my total is correct. I made 11 of the larger blocks this weekend.

My next step will be to set up my design wall and begin playing around with color balance and block placement. I also need to make the corner and side triangle pieces, since the blocks will be set on point. I will have a whole week off from school for Thanksgiving break, so perhaps I’ll use some of that time to continue putting this lovely together.
