Hi Quilting Friends,
My “One Monthly Goal” for January was to make my black and white Frankenbag. Ta-done! (I know. I’m early, but I was too excited about this project to take it slowly. Now that it’s finished, I couldn’t wait to share! I will link to the OMG finish post when it is available in a week or so.)
In case you’re wondering a Frankenbag is a bag made from leftover parts, just like Dr. Frankenstein’s monster. (Tutorial from Agile Jack HERE!) I used an orphan block, leftover parts from other projects, and some of my black & white scraps. The lining is a Moda print that I found on sale last year at one of our local quilt shops.
I had enough leftovers left over after piecing my Frankenbag to make this cute little zipper pouch, which fits nicely inside the larger bag-
And now most of my black & white leftovers have been used up! No worries; I’m very likely to make more.
Happy quilting,
Sharon
