Hi Quilting Friends,
The color of the month for February is RED! Here’s what I’ve been making with my RED scraps!

Rolling Stone Block

Zip Bag
This is the zip bag that I made with an orphan block and some RED scraps-

Place Mat(s)
I made two place mats with my RED scraps this month. They are finished, but I’m not going to share a picture (yet) because they’ll be featured in our post for the “It Moose Be Love” Sew It Show It challenge on February 21.
I’ve finished my GREEN place mat from January as well, with fabric from my stash for the backing and some zig-zag quilting to add pizzazz to the dark green batiks. Solid green binding finished it nicely.

Happy quilting,
Sharon
Pretty projects!!

Very bold reds! Fun block and a very cute bag. The fade from the dark green to mid tone greens in the place mat is really cool. Enjoy your scrappy stitching this week.

Thank you! The greens were 9-patch squares that I had left over from a baby quilt. I’m having fun with the colors. 😊

The bag is wonderful. An awesome use for an orphan block.
