Hi Quilting Friends,
The RSC color for March is YELLOW! I shared my YELLOW Rolling Stone and Coffee Mug blocks last week (HERE).
Pinwheel Stars
I stitched two more Pinwheel Stars with my YELLOW scraps. The first block is made with a pair of soft mellow YELLOW prints-

I may have used the last of the ladybird beetle print for this block, pairing it with a sunny bright YELLOW blender-

I’m happy with my YELLOW Pinwheel Star blocks, and I’m still thinking about how I’ll make them into a quilt later on this year.
Happy quilting,
Sharon
Your blocks are really fun with those cute yellow prints! I really like the contrast between the soft yellow and the bright yellow. Great way to organize these blocks!

Thank you! I don’t think that I’ll ever run out of scraps, or ideas for quilts that use them. Ms P Designs USA

Very cool block. I like that you’ve made two with completely different yellows…and that you didn’t choose to mix the light with a brighter yellow.

Thank you! It seemed logical to do it this way.

Thank you! I can’t remember the original project that used the ladybug fabric, but it has been a favorite!
