Hi Quilting Friends,
The RSC color for September is pastels in shades of BLUE and GREEN. I shared my pretty Pinwheel Star blocks in last week’s post.
I had to keep looking for the right shades of BLUE and GREEN for the remaining September RSC blocks. Here’s what I made, after another deep dive into the scrap bins.
Coffee Mug
Is my Coffee Mug aqua instead of BLUE or GREEN? I don’t care; I like it and that’s that! (Pattern available HERE)

Rolling Stone
I found these soft GREEN prints in the bottom of my GREEN scrap basket. They’re just the thing for my September Rolling Stone block-

Last week I promised to share a few pictures from our weekend beach getaway. We shared a rented beach house in Port Aransas, TX, with our friends and their family, and we all had a great time. (I love the beach!)
Mr. FixIt and I had a day of fun in the sun at Jellystone Park yesterday, and I got to meet Boo-Boo! Yogi stayed away from our pic-a-nic basket, so we had plenty of food to share with our friends. 😎

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope that you’ll have a lovely fun-filled weekend.
Happy quilting,
Sharon

Both of your RSC blocks turned out beautifully. Port Aransas is a cool place to visit. Now that Grad Girl has moved to Houston, I’m sure we’ll be down more often and see more of the beach.

Thank you! We enjoy the beach, for sure! Houston also hosts International Quilt Festival every year. It’s a great time to visit. 😁

I love your coffee mug project – those are going to make such a fun quilt! This one is pretty, no matter what color you call it. And your beach vacation looks like lots of fun, too!

Thank you! I love watching the sunlight catch the water at the beach, and the beautiful colors as the sky changes.

Looks like a fantastic beach trip and I just love your little mermaid!! Your cup and block are awesome and, like you, I like it. Isn’t aqua just blue and green mixture with a little white??!!! Have a great week and thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings.

Thank you! I guess that liking the finished block is much more important than describing its color, right? Ms P Designs USA
