Hi Quilting Friends,
The RSC challenge for November was to turn collections of blocks into finished quilts, or at least to make progress toward doing so.
I shared my progress on the Rolling Stone collection last week, HERE. This was the layout that I liked most.

I spent some time in my studio this week, stitching the Rolling Stone blocks together with a few minor changes to the layout. I don’t plan to add borders, and the binding will be a solid black from my stash. Here’s a photo of the quilt top, with better lighting since I took it outdoors.

I ordered batting and selected backing fabric from my stash. My goal is to be quilting by December, so maybe I can get the basting finished next week.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope that you’re having a great weekend.
Happy quilting,
Sharon

Thank you! I’m not sure about RSC 2026; you’d need to check with Angela about that since she’s the host.

And, it’s wonderful that you’re continuing the PHD in 2026! That makes me very happy!

Thanks Gail! I’ve sort of run out of UFO’s in progress, thanks to several years of participating in PHD, so I’ve expanded the definition of PHD and it’s working just fine so far.

Thank you! I spent quite a bit of time moving blocks around to find a layout that I like. This is usually where I struggle when making scrappy quilts.
