Hi Quilting Friends,
Where does the time go? It doesn’t seem to have been all that long ago that I was wishing you a “Happy Halloween,” and now here we are at the end of November.
November has been busy, with our family Thanksgiving feast (hosted by Susan’s son Alex) and my birthday (yesterday), as well as a flurry of other fun activities that filled our days. I forgot to take more than a handful of pictures; I’m too busy having fun, I guess!
We have just one more month to work on our PHD in 2025 projects. Now is the time to decide which of those unfinished projects to focus on, and which must wait until later.
There still may be time to complete another project or two before this year comes to an end, or at least to make some progress and move closer to that elusive finish line.
Here’s my November update-
Project #2 – Lone Star Quilt

Speaking of elusive finish lines. . .
Ta-done! Yes, “Lone Star” is finished after “only” 30 years of waiting. Whew! This was my “One Monthly Goal” for November, and crossing the finish line feels magnificent. Read more (and see additional pictures) HERE.
Project #11 – Scrappy Rolling Stone Quilt

The scrappy Rolling Stone quilt is pieced and ready to be quilted. You can read more about it HERE and HERE.
My “One Monthly Goal” for December is to quilt and bind this scrappy project. Ready? Set. SEW!

Project #14 – Play with “Toys”
I have run out of time for this, and that’s just fine. Twelve projects from my PHD list are finished and one more is nearly done, so I don’t need another finish to earn my PHD in 2025.
I could push myself to complete this goal, but I choose to relax and enjoy the Holiday season instead. My toys will wait until next year.
New Projects
I have been busy with my new projects, and they are finished. No pictures today; I will share them on December 2 for the “Virtual Cookie Exchange” blog hop.

P.S. Yes please. Let’s do this again! It’s not too early to start thinking about your PHD list for 2026. We’d love to have you join in the fun! Here’s the new logo so you can help to spread the word. 😁

Congrats on all your progress this year. I’m going to fall short, but am still pretty happy with the progress I made. I can hope that next year is better!

Inlinkz is not allowing my entry to post. I’m fighting with it to verify my email. In the meantime, I’m happy to report that I had 3 finishes in November! And another that was a few stitches away from being finished. I might actually earn my PHD in 2025!
Like Anne Marie, I’m also thinking about what my list for next year should look like. Thanks for hosting and continuing to do so.

Thank you! I’m sorry that you’re having troubles with the link; I have no clue about why that would happen. Congratulations on your progress and finishes!

Thank you. And I know the link issues are not with you. It has something to do with their security systems no longer recognizing my email.
