SAHRR 2026: #5

Hi  Quilting Friends,

The challenge for this week’s round, as presented by Gail was “2 colors”, with the option of a neutral fabric if desired.  This would be easy, except for the part where I have to chose only one option. 😊

  1. Looking good, Sharon. Can’t wait to see it come together after you add the final prompt this week. I’m glad you had a good trip to visit your parents and though the delays were not great, they could have been worse I suppose. And you got snow! We had a lot of thunder over the weekend so I wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t have snow in April. At least that’s the old saying, and I’ve seen it happen before! Have a great week.

  2. I thought of you more than once in the last couple of days, as we did some traveling for family, and as I carried my Round Five with me to work on (didn’t get enough time, though, to finish). I’m glad to hear the trip went well, and that you got your brother home in time to see some snow. I really like those pleated ribbon blocks and look forward to your final arrangement. Welcome home!

  3. Flying can be such an adventure these days, but mostly it’s a lesson in patience. Glad you got there and back safely. Your SAHRR is really coming together. Looking forward to seeing the final project.
