OMG! It’s December!

Hi Quilting Friends,

December is (almost) here! I’m posting my goal a little early this month because we’re going to be busy on the blog with our “12 Days of Christmas” series, starting tomorrow. (You’re invited to come back and see what’s up, of course. We’d love to have you join the party!)

My One Monthly Goal for December is to create an Orange scrappy quilted fabric box for storing scraps! I’ve made three boxes so far, shown here:

I had considered choosing a more involved goal for December, but decided to take it easy on myself and save my other project for a time when I won’t be as busy. Self-care is important, especially during the holidays.

My long-term plan is to use my existing scraps to make a box in every color of the rainbow, to be utilized for scrap storage. My scrap “collection” has grown beyond the capacity of my current organizational system, so it is time to “thin the herd” and use up some scraps. Look for some major scrappy quilting from this girl in 2021!
