12 Days of Christmas – Day 12

Hi Quilting Friends,

It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown! It is already day 12 of our 12 days of Christmas and we certainly hope you have enjoyed seeing what we have been doing!

Today is a jolly day, which is perfect for my daughter’s 4th placemat! She is “all about the snowman”, so I made her a very special placemat.

Doesn’t her little snowman look comfy in his cute plaid hat and scarf? She loved her placemats and proudly displays them on her holiday table.

  1. These are so adorable.
My favorite Christmas tradition when the kids lived at home was: the two kids and myself would make tons of multiple types of cookies that we got from my husbands grandmother and we would set up who we wanted to give cookies to. We would go shopping for the perfect container for each person and then fill them with cookies. I would buy five different kinds of Christmas cards. The kids would pick out what card went to whom. And we would all sign our names. Then we would take the cookies with a card to the recipient. I let the kids give away the cookies and cards. They are adults now and will still talk about those times.
