Hi Quilting Friends,
My goal for January was to make my black and gray scrappy storage box. Ta-done!
I’ve made several of these scrap storage boxes over the past couple of years, so this one went together easily in a weekend. I had SEW much fun, fussy-cutting the prints on this box. If you look carefully, you will find a Star Wars Stormtrooper, Jack Skellington, a pair of extremely friendly aliens, and a fluffy pink poodle. I’m not great at neutrals, so I had a little struggle with sticking to just black and gray, but I’m very happy with my finished project.
Only one scrappy storage box to go and my collection is complete! I see a tan & brown basket in the near future. . .
Happy quilting,
Sharon

It is always great to complete a project, even better when it can be checked off a goal list. I love the basket, fussy cutting made it special.
