My “One Monthly Goal” for April was to finish binding the “Crayon Box” quilt. Ta-done! Here’s the photo finish-
I used scraps of binding that were left over from previous projects, and the backing includes orphan blocks and yardage from my stash. I had to purchase batting and thread for quilting, but everything else came from my scraps and my stash.
One would think that I would begin to see a diminishing supply of scraps, now that I’ve completed at least eight scrappy quilts, but it isn’t noticeable yet for most of the fabric colors. My theory is that the scraps are reproducing while I’m at work or perhaps while I’m sleeping. I have a list of scrappy quilt designs that I would like to make, eventually, so that’s OK by me.
