June #RSC2022 Stitching

Hi Quilting Friends,

One of the things that I really love about June and July is that I don’t have to do all of my stitching on Saturday and Sunday. School’s out, and I can set my own schedule (up to a point).

So here’s what I’ve been stitching with my BLUE scraps during the past week-

Carolina Chain

I have a boatload of blue scraps, and I made 41 (!) blue Carolina Chain blocks this month. Here are my pretty blue blocks for June-

At this point I have stitched up about half of the Carolina Chain blocks that I’ll need for my quilt. I’m excited to start putting them together, eventually.

I hope that you’re having a great month, so far.

Happy Quilting,

Sharon

  1. You are doing a bang-up job on your blue blocks. The Sawtooth Star is pretty and I couldn’t believe you made 41 Carolina Chain blocks! Woot! Woot! Eating up the scraps!

    1. Thanks Sue! I am excited to have enough chain blocks to make my quilt, eventually. One would think that I would begin to see the last of my scrapps, but I think that they reproduce in the bins while I’m not looking, LOL.
