Hi Quilting Friends,
The color of the month for January is GREEN! Here’s what I’ve been making with my GREEN scraps from my GREEN scrappy basket!

Rolling Stone Block

I just love those little ladybird beetles!
Zip Bag
I’m still debating whether I want to make place mats or zip bags this year. Maybe I’ll make some of each, but this month I decided on a zip bag. Isn’t it fun! I decided to practice my FMQ feathers again, and I remembered how to do it. Yay me!
In other news, I’ve finished stitching my Carolina Chain blocks from RSC 2022 and 2023 together into a quilt top. I’ll post updates as I progress toward a finish, but that may be a while.

Princess Nina is away for a few weeks, as she was due for a “spa day”. I’m hoping that her absence will be brief- I already miss her! Nina (my experienced Bernina 1530) is on backup duty, just in case I have a stitching emergency. I’m back to work tomorrow though, so I’ll have plenty of distractions (aka my students) to hold my attention and occupy my time.
Happy quilting,
Sharon

You got a very good start on the RSC projects for 2024. Your Carolina Chain looks great!

Thanks Kate! I doubt that I’ll ever make it to the end of my scrap supply, LOL. Ms P Designs USA
