12 Days of Christmas, Day 7!

Hi Quilting Friends,

I hope that you are enjoying our 12 days of Christmas event. Today we will introduce our fifth Ugly Sweater animal. Please watch this next video for an awesome hint as to what today’s critter could be!

Great job! You guessed it!!! Today we are talking about a cute little fox wearing her ugly sweater.

I chose to use a little fox all dressed in Christmas colors on an apron. I found an awesome 1950’s apron pattern which had a bib the perfect size for my little fox.

But wait! There’s more! My friend, Linda, saw my little fox drawing and wondered if I could make her sweet little granddaugher, Blayke, a Christmas stocking. Something you need to know about Blayke is that if it is pink and sparkles, then she will love it. Linda also requested that I incorporate cotton fabric onto the wool blend stocking to make it look more “sweatery”. Here is a picture of Blayke’s new Christmas stocking. Don’t you think that she will LOVE it?

  2. I rarely wear an apron and don’t have one that is festive for Christmas. Your fox apron is adorable!!

  3. I normally don’t wear an apron but if I had a cute fox design I would create one then wear it for Christmas festivities at our house. Think our grandson (almost 5) would love to see it being worn!

  4. Haha!! I often get aprons at Christmas but somehow they always remain hanging up on the wall, they’re just too pretty to use!

  5. That stocking is too stinking cute!! IF it weren’t for the fact that my granddaughters already had stockings, I’d have to do something like this for them. Absolutely love it!
