Hi Quilting Friends,
One of my personal goals for 2020 is to participate in the online quilting community, and so I’ve chosen to work on my PHD in 2020 with Gail at QuiltingGail!
Here’s what I’ve been working on since my last update! I’ve been REALLY busy at school this month, so I haven’t had much time and/ or energy for sewing. But, progress is progress!
Project #3: Lazy Log Cabin Blocks

I’ve joined the 100 individual squares into sets of four squares each, taking care to make sure that I don’t have the same fabrics next door to each other.
Project #8: Finish the Under Construction Quilt
I’ve finished the little foundation paper pieced vehicle blocks, which was my “One Monthly Goal” for February.

The vehicle patterns are available from Ms P’s Pattern Shop, if you’d like to make some trucks! I know! It might be wrong to tempt you with another project if you’re trying to finish up your 2020 PHD, but these trucks are SEW much fun to make, and I promise that they don’t take a long time either!
I got SEW excited about this project that I went ahead and finished stitching the “Under Construction” quilt top. I made a couple of changes from my original vision, and I’m happy with the result. It’s prepped for quilting, so I may have time to finish it this month. Sorry, no picture yet; the “big reveal” will be in April when we release the “Under Construction” pattern. It is SEW cute!!!
Here’s my updated UFO task spreadsheet:
I’m linking up to the mid-February Linky Party now!
Happy quilting,
Sharon
Good progress! Congratulations. I’m getting nothing done this month. =P

Thanks Susan! I always hope to get more done than I actually accomplish; just keep stitching, and have fun with it!

Awesome progress! Even a little progress is great! Your construction trucks are SEW cute!!!
Using the colourful spreadsheet makes it easy to see things at a glance! Perfect!
Happy Quilting! 🙂
PS there will be a linky post on the 15th, I hope you link up!

Thanks Gail! I really enjoyed making the little trucks; sew much fun. The colored spreadsheet lines make me think of a computer progress bar; when it is fully colored then the waiting is over. 🙂

The little trucks are very cute – they look like a lot of fun to sew. And great work on the Log Cabin blocks too.

Congratulations on getting those blocks done. I am sure they took a while for both projects.
