February PHD Update

Hi Quilting Friends,

One of my personal goals for 2020 is to participate in the online quilting community, and so I’ve chosen to work on my PHD in 2020 with Gail at QuiltingGail!

Here’s what I’ve been working on since my last update!

Project #3: Lazy Log Cabin Blocks

The quilt top is finished! I plan to tie it and add the binding in March, with a little help from my Mom when she’s here for a visit, so I’ll post a photo next time.

Project #8: Finish the Under Construction Quilt

The quilt is finished, it is SEW adorable! We’re already planning a variation that features police officers and their vehicles. No photo today; I’m keeping the finished design a secret until we release the pattern in April.

Project #9: Make “Goose Trails” table runner for Christmas

The Christmas runner is ready for quilting! I love these fabrics from Leanne Anderson at “The Whole Country Caboodle”!

New Projects Started for 2020

I’ve added a couple of new projects for 2020, and one of them is finished already!

Star in Heart Pillow by Ms P Designs USA

I made this pretty pillow for the “Color It Red” blog hop, using our “Heart in a Star” block pattern and scraps of red, black, and white fabric from my fabulous fabric stash!

Life and Times of Roy G Biv by Sharon @ Ms P Designs USA

I joined the “Scrap Snap” quilt along with Kari at “Quilts for the Making”, and then I couldn’t stop making the easy scrappy blocks! Here’s a picture of my quilt top, “The Life & Times of Roy G. Biv”, all ready for quilting. I’m way ahead of the quilt along schedule, but I’m sure that is just fine.

Here are my updated tally and progress spreadsheets for end of February!

    1. Thanks Sue! LOL! I’m banking up these “extra” projects to cover myself when I get lazier (or tempted to add more to the list) as the year progresses. :o)
