Hi Quilting Friends,
Today we are taking a breather from quilting to share a quick and delicious appetizer recipe! Each year the family demands that I make shrimp veggie dip for the holidays. Let’s just say that if I am what I eat, I am either cheap, fast or easy! (Or a combination of the three.)
Here’s a picture of the shrimp dip on the beautiful “Goose Trails” table runner that Sharon made. She used fabrics from our friends at The Whole Country Caboodle. I am a huge fan of their fabrics. Their color ways are exactly the colors that make me happy! Too bad that Sharon gifted the table runner to my favorite nephew who lives in San Antonio; I would have called dibs on this one.

I made the shrimp dip for Thanksgiving this year. The family fell upon it like a pack of ravenous beasts, devouring the entire bowl of dip in a few minutes. (Well, maybe not like beasts; more like hungry people.) It is just that delicious!
Here’s the shrimp dip recipe! Click on the recipe card for your downloadable recipe file.
If you REALLY like shrimp, add a second can!
The “Goose Trails” runner pattern is available from Ms P’s Pattern Shop.
We hope you enjoy the recipe and happy quilting,
Susan
The dip sounds great! Thanks so much for the recipe, Susan!
