April OMG? Ta-Done!

Hi Quilting Friends,

My “One Monthly Goal” for April was to piece a set of four place mats and a table runner, featuring this set of seven Mariner’s Star blocks:

And they’re finished! I’m really really happy with the result. Isn’t it great when a plan comes together so well? I can’t wait to get them quilted, so that’s probably going to be my next goal. I’m showing the picture of just one place mat. We’re planning to create a pattern for this design as soon as I finish the model. We like to keep a few surprises on hold for the pattern release, so I’ll wait to share more photos until then. :o)

In other news, here’s a picture of the fabulous OMG prize that I won for March. What a nice surprise, and it is sew exciting to be a prize winner! My new PINK Mini Oliso iron is SO cute, and it works great whenever I have a pressing need for nice flat seams. (Thank you Patty and Oliso!)
