Today’s block is called “Memory”. For this block you’ll be making flying geese units in two color combinations and some HST squares.
Here are pictures of our Memory blocks:
The “Memory” block is 12″ by 12″ square. You may purchase the pattern right here for just $3, through May 2. After May 2, the price will increase to $4 so don’t delay!
You may have noticed that Susan’s quilt has several of the blocks in a different position, when compared to the layout diagram and Sharon’s quilt. Susan decided that, with the fabrics she used, she likes it better this way. This is something that you can do too, if you prefer. Just make sure that the blocks you swap are the same size, and everything will fit just right for your own unique and beautiful quilt!
Stitch up the “Memory” block and show us a picture of your gorgeous block to receive the 9″ by 9″ square “Burning Star” block pattern (shown below) as a reward. You must submit the reward form by May 5 to earn your free pattern.
