RSC 2026: September #1

Hi Quilting Friends,

Purple Scrappy Basket B by Sharon @ Ms P Designs USA

Here are the 20 PURPLE blocks that I made from my scraps for September.

The current block count is 184, so I could make a 39″ square quilt if I was ready to do it, but I think I’ll keep on making blocks instead. I’m on the lookout for interesting layout options as I think about making this quilt.

Thanks for visiting!  You can click the links below for more “eye candy”.

Happy quilting,

Sharon

  1. I am healing from a stress fracture in my 2nd metatarsal that went a bit off the rails. I spent 3 months in the post-op shoe, with 7 weeks of that in a wheelchair to be non-weightbearing. I’ve been in regular shoes for a week now, hallelujah. Hope your recovery is faster than mine since you don’t have a break. Good luck!

    1. Thank you! It sounds like you dealt with a lot during recovery, and it is great that you’re nearly back to normal now. Honestly, I’m a little stir crazy after just 2 weeks, but I’m trying to be good and let it rest so I can heal.

  2. Oh my – those purples are so pretty, especially arranged the way you have them. I’m interested to see how they all come together with the other colors. They should make a gorgeous quilt.
