Hi Quilting Friends,
Here’s what I’ve been working on since my last update for the PHD in 2020 with Gail at QuiltingGail!
There isn’t a lot here, because I’m back at work now and my sewing time is limited to weekends only at the start of each school year. There is SO much to learn! I will have students in class (as usual) along with students who are learning at home, all at the same time. Yikes!
PHD Projects:
No progress this month. I have two items on my list that aren’t finished yet, and I haven’t worked on them at all since my last update. No worries- I will get back to them soon.
New Projects:
I finished up two of the three scrappy Christmas quilts that I pieced during July. Here’s a picture! This was my “OMG” for August.
I’ve started making some foundation pieced Mariner’s Star blocks, which will eventually become a table runner and a set of place mats. The design is developing as I make progress on the blocks. Here’s a picture of one block:

I have also been making a couple of small projects for the “From the Heart” blog hop, coming in October. No picture yet; I like to be mysterious.
Here’s my spreadsheet for 2020, still the same as it was at the end of July. I’m not concerned about this, since nearly all of the cells are colored at this stage. I hope to have several of the remaining cells filled by the end of the year. Stay tuned!

And here’s my PHD tally:

Happy quilting,
Sharon
