Hi Quilting Friends,
September is here, and I’ve been back to work (without students so far) for about 2 weeks. Even though I’ve been teaching for 21 years, this year is feeling more like my first year of teaching, again. So, with anticipated sewing time at a minimum, I’ve chosen One Monthly Goal for September.
I started sewing some “Mariner’s Star” blocks before school started, with the intention of designing and making a table runner and a set of four place mats to give to my younger son for Christmas this year. My goal for September is to finish stitching up the rest of the blocks that I need, to make a total of seven. Here’s one finished “Mariner’s Star” block:

And away we go!
Happy quilting,
Sharon
