Hi Quilting Friends,
One of my personal goals for 2020 was to participate in the online quilting community, and so I’ve chosen to work on my PHD in 2020 with Gail at QuiltingGail! Here’s what I’ve been working on since my last update. It isn’t much, but it’s all I can manage at the moment. Back-to-school has hit me like a ton of bricks this year.
Project #7: Make a wall hanging from one of these patterns

Score! I finally found a gray batik that will work beautifully for the background (sky) on my quilt. I’m excited to get on with the next phase of this project. I promise some progress by mid-October, honestly. I think that ‘Nina must think that I’ve abandoned her.
New Projects:

My “Mariner’s Star” blocks are finished, which was my September OMG. Woot woot!

And I made a pair “funky” fall hot pads for the “Hello Fall” blog hop, using fabrics from my extensive private textile collection and our “Wonky Churn Dash” block pattern.
I’ve also done some “Secret Sewing” for the “From the Heart” blog hop, coming in October. No picture of that project today; you’ll need to wait until the 26th to see what I’ve made.
Here’s my updated progress spreadsheet, which is still the same as it was in mid-August:

Here’s my current spreadsheet for 2020, which hasn’t changed in a month. I really miss sewing!

Happy quilting,
Sharon
