Hi Quilting Friends,
Welcome 2022, and so long to 2021! It was another “interesting” year, wasn’t it?
Today I’m taking time to look back on all of the quilt projects that I’ve finished this year. Here we go!
Project #1: Make the “Southwest Critters” Quilt

All done! The “Southwest Critters” quilt pattern is available in Ms P’s Pattern Shop!

Project #2: “Perfect Pineapples” foundations wall hanging

The scraps are ready, but I didn’t make any progress on this project. It will join the 2022 list.
Project #3: Make something with this great coffee print fabric

All done! The “Coffee Tea or Me?” coffee mug pattern is available in Ms P’s Pattern Shop.

Project #4: Quilt “Scrappy Christmas Quilt #3”, pieced in 2020

All done! I enjoyed learning how to spiral quilt with this project. This was a Christmas gift to my son’s girlfriend.

Project #5: Stitch four foundation pieced vehicles
All done! You can find patterns for the vehicles in Ms P’s Pattern Shop!
Project #6: Finish the “Scrappy Goose Foot” full-sized quilt

No progress for this project, although I did sort through and set aside yardage for backing from my stash. It will join my 2022 PHD list.
Project #7: Make a throw with my “Diamond Star” blocks

Not finished. I’ve finished stitching blocks, so I’m ready to continue with the next steps for 2022.

Project #8: “Thangles” HST foundation papers

No progress. Perhaps I’ll get to it in 2022!
Projects #9 through #12: Colorful fabric baskets from scraps
I’ve created GREEN, AQUA, BLUE, and VIOLET scrappy baskets this year, which completes my rainbow of scrappy happiness! It was fun, digging through my scrap bins and finding forgotten “treasures”.
Project #13: Mariner’s Star table runner and place mats

All done! The pattern for the “Mariner’s Star Place Mats and Table Runner” is available in Ms P’s Pattern Shop.

Projects #14 and #15: Christmas stockings for the Grand-doggers
We are blessed with two beautiful Grand-Doggers, Naomi and Ruth. Here are the Christmas stockings that I stitched up for them, since they are both very good girls. The Christmas applique patterns are both available in Ms P’s Christmas Shop.

Project #16: Finish the teal, purple, and gray quilt

All done, but not perfect, after a lot of wrestling. Done is good, and it took slightly less than 30 years from start to finish, LOL.

Project #17: 9o circle wedge ruler and Christmas fabric stash

Nope. Perhaps I’ll get busy with this project in 2022.
Project #18: Finish the “Monster Mashup” quilt, pieced in 2020

Finished! I found a cute print (orange with white ghosts) to use for the backing for this adorable monster pattern by Fat Cat Patterns. Here’s the photo finish-

Project #19: Finish the Autumn table runner

Finished, and “living” with my son in San Antonio. It looks wonderful on his big dining room table!

New Projects for 2021:
Here’s my task list spreadsheet for 2021, with colored cells for my progress. I realize that 20 projects was too many for a single year.

And my UFO list for 2021:

Happy quilting,
Sharon
Congratulations on all your finishes! You had a great year, Sharon!
