RSC 2026: May #1

Hi Quilting Friends,

My scrap collection includes more orange than I had anticipated, although the supply is running low, and the selection is limited. Here are the 20 blocks that I stitched in orange.

This block set now numbers 104, which is enough for a 30″ x 30″ quilt. I still haven’t played with them to choose a layout but the plan is to make more blocks first.

We’re enjoying some beautiful weather, and the flowers in the area are gorgeous. I’m ready to go outside and play, now that my blocks are all sewed up. How about you?

Have a great weekend, and Happy Mother’s Day if you are a Mom!

Happy quilting,

Sharon

  1. Orange is a hard color to use except as an accent. Well maybe not when you are doing a Halloween quilt or an OSU (either Oregon or Oklahoma State) quilts. Enjoy both your stitching and playing outside time.
