Hi Quilting Friends,
Welcome to Day 3 of our “12 Days of Christmas” extravaganza! Continuing on with our Ugly Sweater theme, today we have a festive moose! First let’s get inspired with a short video:
Wow, that moose can dance!

We chose the “Ugly Sweater” theme for this year’s “12 Days of Christmas” series because my company had an Ugly Sweater contest at our Christmas party and several of my co-workers had some extremely funny costumes. Today we are taking a look at Mr. Moose. I chose to put him on matching potholders (well almost)!
The first moose was pieced according to the directions on our pattern and I decided that the second moose (a mirror image of the first moose) needed to kick up his heels a little, so I re-positioned one of his legs.
Wouldn’t these potholders look cute hanging in a cabin in the woods? I chose red fabric with holly leaves to make them look festive to fit in with anyone’s holiday decor.
Giveaway time! If you’d like to win a free “Ugly Sweater Contest Moose” pattern, use the Rafflecopter Link and complete the tasks for entry into the giveaway. The giveaway will be open for entries until midnight on December 3. We’ll notify the winner via email on December 5. Good luck!
In love with the moose? You can purchase the pattern right here, or browse the collection in Ms P’s Pattern Shop!

Come back again tomorrow to see Sharon’s project!
Happy quilting,
Susan

He is cute!! Somehow missed yesterdays. Saw the cookie exchange and then you mentioned another hop but never saw the block for yesterday.

This moose is too cute not to buy. I can’t wait to work with him/her.
As far as Christmas is concerned, all I can say is that my husband got out all the decoration boxes. That’s as far as we got. Every year he says they’re not all going back. As for my sewing…my plans are not working out well. There is so much I want to do and know that I can’t. So we’ll see. I look forward to next year’s BOM along with the rest of your 12 days of Christmas.
