Hi Quilting Friends,
I’m back again with my “best” photos from November and December.
And, in case you’ve missed any of my previous posts in the “Oh Shoot!” series, here they are! Click on the picture to see each post:
Here are my new photos, taken in November and December. Let’s begin with our trip to the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville, Texas! It was a gorgeous November day, and the whole family enjoyed the outing.
We had autumn in Houston this year! It doesn’t always happen this way. Most years the trees in our neighborhood turn from summer green to winter brown without an extended time of glorious fall color. It is apparently the perfect condition for fungal growth as well, as evidenced by the ginormous fungus that we found growing along the curb. I snapped these photos while I was out walking with my sweet granddogger, Naomi:
Mom celebrated her 80th birthday earlier this month, and we surprised her by traveling to Montana! We had a total of 8 family members travel from Texas to Montana to help Mom celebrate. She was SO surprised and happy! (More about our visit in a future post, I promise.) My camera and I took a walk down Mom & Dad’s street one evening:
I hope that you’ve enjoyed my photos today! I’m ready to get outside again, looking all around and up and down for interesting and beautiful things to photograph and share. Please stop by again soon! Our next blog post will have some quilt pictures, I promise.
Happy quilting,
Sharon
